Bruno Senna made a dream start to his Lloyds TSB Insurance British F3 International Series season by taking victory in both races of the season opener at Oulton Park.

Senna in his Mercedes-powered Double R Racing Dallara won the day's second race after pole-sitter Mike Conway made a poor start with too much wheelspin, allowing team-mate Senna and Carlin Motorsport's Christian Bakkerud through. The Brazilian was gifted a lead as Conway pressured Bakkerud, and unlike the day's first race there were no safety car periods to hinder Senna's getaway.

Bakkerud withstood Conway to take his first podium of the year, Conway crossing the line just behind the Dane. Oliver Jarvis took third place, comfortably ahead of Carlin Motorsport team-mate Maro Engel.

National class honours once more went to Rodolfo Gonzalez, the T-Sport driver working his way to eighth in the overall standings and comfortable ahead of class rivals Cristiano Morgado and Martin Kudzak.

It wouldn't surprise me. The family's dumping a lot of cash behind his racing. Don't forget, a lot of F3 drivers run other series races than their own. I believe Macau is a series race not just a stand alone. But, if you're an F3 driver you certainly want to win that one.

I hope he does really well. I still have the videos of him in a go kart racing against Ayrton and on his Speed Boat.

I think I read somewhere that Kimi Raikonnen is involved that the team Bruno Senna drives for, I think as a owner...and Peter Windsor is his driving coach. I can't find that at the moment...anyone else heard of this?

Bruno Senna drives for RR racing(Raikkonen/Robertson, Kimi is part owner) Peter Windsor is indeed acting as a driver coach so to speak.
