could it be a electrical system master shut-off switch? I don't see one anywhere else on the car, but I don't know whether it is supposed to have one or not... just a guess.

Not having had the benefit of driving one, I'd have to guess it is the switch to turn the power on in the car.

The user ferrarifixer would know from his experiences with F50 GT #003 when it was in Australia.

I think it's for the brake adjust.

All racing cars have a switch to move the brake from the front brakes to the rear brakes.

The "A" letter can be "avanti" that I think in italian it's front.

Hope you can understand my english.

    Got your PM thanks..

I can't be 100% sure as that's not the same as 003, but for sure, the lever looks like a brake adjuster and as said, "A" would be front.

Interesting - I would have never guessed that, but it does make sense. :)

Here's a shot of #003's interior. It did seem to have the same dial with what looks like a sticker below identifying it's function. Hoping it might jog your memory.

I don't have a single interior shot from #002 unfortunately.

    yep, my bad...

poor old 003 got used so little that I never got truly intimate with it. That pic is taken the ONLY day it ever ran in it's ownership in Oz... and it never got anywhere near needing a brake bias adjustment.

I do remember labelling all the other switches as they were in italian... at the time I didn't know what "Lunotto" meant... so I labelled the switch "eject"..

I think it's still on there!

FYI... Lunotto means screen.. which is heated as an option but not used on 003.

    "Lunotto" = back glass

    why "back"....?

I was reliably told it just means "screen"....

the fact there's a switch means it's heated.. and the F50 has no "back" screen anyway.

tridente78 is correct...'Lunotto' is the back screen....the front screen is 'parabrezza'.

Obviously, the GT1 hasn't a back screen...so in that particular case the word lunotto was used for front screen...

    :)

that doesn't make sense... an italian labelled the switches... why would he call it "back screen", when it's the "front screen" ?

Are you sure you're not confusing the fact it's heated, and most cars have a heated back screen and the word has got lost in familiarity?

Could it be the fuel switch?
