I talked to the owner. As stated in a previous thread the rust is what would scare me more than the seats. He did say it has been very reliable but it hasn't been serviced in at least 7 years and the odometer has been broken/stopped for "probably 4 or 5 thousand miles." You don't see many euro dry sump cars available though.
Yeah...this car got quite a bit of F-chat attention a few weeks ago. At that time the owner's price was 25K. Now it's 23. Do I hear 19K? Or...
Dry sump 308 GTB = Way cool! Expensive to sort out, probably. Last Ferrari I restored, I added up the receipts and just about went in to shock. I learned from that experience - and how! Next Ferrari I restore, I won't add up the receipts
if you buy it I'll trade you straight across another 308 gtsi with a fresh motor ... I want that car ... you don't need a dry sump .
