    I connected by IPOD via the USB port cable and the system appeared to download all my music over the course of 10-15 minutes--- then the system - when I select HDD - tells me "select music." However, I do not see the music files. It did not come unfortunately with an IPOD cable......not my choice

    advice to get this to work?

    the usb port will only import mp3 files, and only from a flash drive or other conventionally formatted usb device.
