So there was a post about must haves for ones 355... In it the OP said a Dr. Colorchip kit.

    $75 later I have one.

Here's before and after on the rear lower panel. Lots of stone chips.

While it's not the same as a re spray it certainly is acceptable until I getv the bumpers resprayed. Also did it in a few more noticeable spots and it looks pretty good.

    Paint matched well.

Yeah, it's decent. I've used it last year. I did not find it as easy to apply as they shown in the video but it's still a decent out come.

With practice this is a very easy and serviceable temporary fix. Make sure that you use mineral spirits on the area first to remove any wax. Dab, let dry for a few seconds, or more - depends on the humidity - then smear. Small specks repair better if you dab the "paint" near the speck then smear over it. Larger ones, just dab in the "crater" and smear across it after it has partially dried. Do it several times to fill. Also when working on several spots be careful because it is really easy to lose track of them once they are covered. Lastly, be careful not to rub over the repaired area with the provided solvent. I usually rub around it and quickly cross over the repair unlkess its a crater, in which case I avoid it. Wait 24 hours then wax with something decent - I use Zymol.

The have a thicker product for lots of tiny specks clustered. I have not used this one, but the original product works fine on them with some practice.
