Drag Day (No we are not dressing like women)

Dusty and I are go for a drag day, run what you brung. It's at Pomdale (LACR). Date to be announced. If anyone else is intrested let Dust or I know.

 

I'm VERY interestd if everyone is going to drag in drag ... I think that would b HOT!!!!

I always got excited when the football players dressed up like cheerleaders ... SHOW SOME LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...

camaro, and i will have Rich bring his 67 fastback,caffinejunkie with his suped up audi..... some Fasst vipers etc.....i we have to see what date will work best, but we will bring a bunch of cars as well as a wide variety...... fun fun fun

Great plan. Make it a saturday or a sunday, and Im in. I cant get out there on a weekday for the test and tune stuff.

Cars under 11.49 need a roll bar. Under 14.00 need a helmet.
They are stricter on verts.


I want to see if the new setup will crack 135. Probably not, LACR is a pretty crappy track, prep and DA-wise.

 

Are you guys going to do the Friday night "run what ya brung" at LACR or will this be a private rental deal? Dustin, PM the info when you have it. I might want to bring one of the race cars.

 

I will be brining my 1400 horse Camaro 69 and a 900 horse Baracuda Super Stock 68 (yes a real super stock, one of 50)

Oz, the thing is that you can get a lot of passes out there....the track is crap, but lots of passes. unless we want to do a privat track day, i can call fontana..........

 

Hertz has the Shelby mustangs for rent. Get some BFG drags and have them mounted. Beat the car up all day, have the original tires put back on. Car is good for burnouts, thats about it.
