    I am looking at a car at a place called Dragonfly Motors in Ft. Lauderdale. What's the scoop on this place, is it legitimate?

    Anybody work close by and could check out a car for me there?

    My advice: Be careful. I've lived in Ft Laudedale for a LONG time and have seen literally dozens of "exotic car dealers" come and go. This town must be the capital of bling car scams. These guys may be perfectly legit, but I've never heard of them. Whatever they have is probably also available from an established dealer somewhere else.

    Even if someone eyeballs it for you, don't forget a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI). It's the PRE purchase part that's important. Get it checked before you buy.

    Tim Stanford or Blackhorse Motors are your best bet to have the car checked out.

    Thank guys! They have a lower mileage E36 Dakar Yellow BMW M3 4 door w/ approximately 65K on the clock. The price seems very reasonable, and the pictures look great. However, I am very reluctant when it comes to local unknown car dealers--especially in Florida (I lived in Orlando for 4 years). Anyway, I will have the car PPI'd if it checks out, but I first want to make sure it is as advertised cosmetically and doesn't have any overt flaws. Duskybird, if you are in the area tomorrow and it is not too inconvenient, I would certainly appreciate you giving the car a look over. PLEASE DO NOT GO OUT OF YOUR WAY THOUGH. I would hate for you to inconvenience yourself and then I change my mind.
