Dragons Den: Anyone thought they had an idea that would stand up?

I have recently fancied doing a Dragens Den appearence if my idea was good enough and watertight!!

Anyone else thought about doing it?

 

Thought about it, but they reckoned you have to wait 90 days for the funds - its not worth the hassle

 

A guy i know designed an electric golf trolley went on there , and it was a fairly decent design too, and the market is there, but they ripped him to shreds

 

They are far too greedy imo.

I would have proposed my business summary to them as it will be worth silly millions in the future but I would expect them to demand a high share of the business therefore not worth considering. £250k in this business would be used in a jiffy but its the long term outlook and capability that is important.

personally i think its for skint members full of crap with no money surely if the idea/product is that good it will get snapped up straight away without going through the humiliation on there

 

Just my opinion but i dont think the "full of crap" and "with no money" concept is true.

Some of these people have ingenious ideas, some do not but thats what makes it interesting.

Sure, some have no money but some do. Whether they wish to risk all of their life savings is another story but i suppose thats what segregates the people with different risk factors. At least, I think it would be worthwhile to gauge their reactions to the business proposal and decide from that point whether you want them on board or not.

 

I wanted to go on there purely for the free advertising! was going to show my ar$e at the end just to make sure I hit the head lines.

Got a great idea that would generate buckets of cash if done right. Thought about it, but always too busy to actually do it. But working on a project now so once thats finished Im gonna work on that. Then u never know I might end up on DD getting royally ripped!
