So, I checked my oil level, car running and hot. It's a good 2" above the MAX notch. My guess is, the last service guy filled when not running. Ugghh...
Is there a way to remove some of the oil without having to jack the car, drop the belly pan, etc? Perhaps a hose down into the oil fill neck and then gravity drain a quart or two?

    Thanks!
    Rick

As above, turkey baster or syringe and hose. BTDT.

I don't think you have to drop the belly pay, the oil drain plug is right under a rubber 3" plug on belly pan.

Hopefully the extra oil didn't get injected and ruin your mafs and sensors. Common mistake on these cars. This might be the exception to the rule of too much oil is better than too little. Too little the light would come on and you could add accordingly
