I am draining the gas tank in a Maserati Coupe, 2004.
Actually, I am trying to, but really don't know how on more modern cars.

Stuck a hose into the fuel filler with an electric fuel pump. I think there must be a restriction in there as the hose will stop going in, and cannot take any fuel out.

I assume there might be another way that won't be so complicated.
Have not lifted the car up, as was hoping that my siphoning system would work, as I have never had to due this in modern cars, and almost the rule in old ones due to lack of activity and stale/bad gas.
    Any help will be appreciated.

The dealer here, does not know. Please don't ask. 3rd World, big time.

    Regards, Alberto

Disconnect the fuel line from the tank, or at the engine, add an extension hose from the line to your catch bucket, jump the fuel pump relay and let the fuel pump do the work. The tank will be empty in no time.

Excellent! How do I jump the relay and not fry anything?

    Thank you.
