Stupid. Never had any of the issues in his "video".

"I'm so ashamed of "owning" a Ferrari that I have to make up uses why it suks to own it." 1) everyone slows own for speed bumps yes even in my mini 2) speed bumps suck for everyone 3) if you want to preserve resale... Don't publish videos of every joke in town driving it!

My only gripe with his videos is he comes off as the nitwit son of a ferrari owner trying too hard to prove to is friends that he's not kewl. Though I'm actually interested how a twenty something will "afford" a Ferrari repair. Mommy can I borrow a dime? ;)

    Of course.... its Jalopnik.

Interesting responses. Previously people have thought this guy's articles/videos are hilarious. I just haven't thought so (and still don't).

I like his videos, they are a bit over the top and humorous, but that's what makes a good story teller.

+1. I thought hilarious. As Robert Plant once said, "Does anyone remember laughter?"

    Well said.

While I enjoy his witty writing sometimes, he is definitely taking his Ferrari ownership to an unnecessary level of passive egoism. In other words, he loves to show it off but pretends to hate it.

I wonder if he has become a member on this forum... Can you imagine his posts??

This guy has a lot of cognitive dissonance going on in his mind, he loves to complain about Ferrari.....however if he did not have that Ferrari most people would not give a damn what he has to say.

I like his videos, they make me laugh!
There is nothing wrong with exaggerating the truth to make people laugh.
I'm one of those exotic owners that he makes fun of in some of his videos, if I can laugh about it, so can others!

It is a tough life driving an exotic - but I wouldn't change it for the world

I find it funny and harmless.

I've seen the driver doing the reverse cell photo WAY too many times myself.

Sensationalism and nothing else. He's a journalist and this is how he makes his living.

In the past couple weeks I have taken the 360 to Miami/FLL and back, no issues. Just ticked off a 1700 mile road trip to the mountains and drove it pretty hard while there, again, no issues.

Yes it gets attention - but it's just a sports car - they all do to some degree.

Mr. Demuro would be VERY unlikeable, particularly amongst the Jalopnik crowd if all he did was go on about how great the 360 is... especially considering a new C7 will do everything better for less money.

He will sell it by end of year. It's just a story piece for now..

I think his videos are funny. He worked at Ferrari of Denver one summer, maybe he saw the stereotypes that he makes fun of a little too much that summer. These are cars not the cure to cancer, we should be able to laugh (including at ourselves) for the irrational behavior exotic cars evoke from owners and the public.

Don't get me wrong. I think some of the stuff that he does is funny. His posts on the Landrover are entertaining and accurate. But when he gets into the Ferrari, his story isn't as clean. The duality above kills the message for me. Its like taking your model girlfriend out and calling her "fat" to appease your jealous friends.

Clearly you don't need a Ferrari to create a compelling story that people will engage with. The Landrover posts are so interesting because we all relate to that. "Stunts with my Dad's Ferrari" isn't enduring. It's #richkidsofinstagram.

I wonder if he is joking about taking 2 parking spots or serious.

That is the worst thing you can do with one of these car, take 2 spots and you will get keyed. Take one spot like a normal car and people will ignore it and they will not slam their doors into it. Been parking mine daily in the student parking lot, several times a week at the grocery store and still don't have a single door ding in 2+ years.

The pothole issue is only a problem when you have 240lbs. (3 bags at 80lbs. each) of water softerner salt in the car, 2 in the front trunk and the 3rd one on your wife's lap in the passenger seat because the rest of the groceries are in the passenger footwell...I could not get up my driveway without scraping the nose quite badly that day, lesson learned, only 2 bags of salt next time.

Treat it like a normal car and people will ignore it and its a great car.
