My company uses about 7-8 TB bandwidth each month, 350-450k cycles. Rackspace shut us down in May when we had a huge traffic spike, which cost us thousands of $ in lost income.

Does anybody have any experience with Dreamhost, or have another dedicated server host to recommend? One where "unlimited" really means unlimited?

I had a nightmare with iPower (another all you can eat plan).

    We've moved our servers here:

    http://www.100mbpsservers.com/

    100 mbps unmetered (unlimited)

We looked around for weeks before deciding to go with them. Our servers are in VA - InfoRelay is the provider.

We also have a rack at interserver in NJ which is good, but not unmetered. Also Switch and Data (I think they renamed) in North Bergen NJ...very good as well, but not unmetered.

    Best of luck.

Been with them since 2004. Id say since around 2008 they upped their game and have been great. Earlier this year they upgraded all their servers.

Unlimited is unlimited as long as the content is legit.
