That's it, after years of wishing and saving I've done it. Nearly got a 308 last year but held off and now.....this Friday.....I'm collecting my 1991 348 ts, and boy is this week going slooooooow. I've not been this excited since....oh hell, I've never been this excited.
One thing, where can i get the '348 ts' rear badge as this one was de-badged and also the best place to get the wing shields.
I'll report back with pics when I've get a chance to stop driving, so don't hold your breath.

Contact Ricambi (site sponsor) for the 348 badge. It's like 50 bucks. Ditch the "wing shields" - they're over the top and you don't need any more prancing horses adorning your car. Trust me, everyone will know it's a Ferrari.

Congratulations! The 348 is one of my favorite cars! I picked up an NSX a few weeks ago and the wait is almost unbearable when it comes to picking up your exotic sportscar! Hang on!

Thanks Chris, I've placed my order and it is cheaper on e-bay than direct through Eurospares....not sure how that works !!!

Seems that wing sheilds are a no-no within the 348 world, so i won't upset the apple cart. Roll on Friday

I think that is the incorrect badge you just bought. The one on ebay is for the radio door, not the rear deck.

The rear deck looks like this:

That is simply wrong information on the Eurospares auction. Unless a Euro car is totally different in it's rear badge, it should look like the pic in mine. In fact, you'll notice mine still has the Ferrari part number on the shrink wrap...

Thanks Daniel, I'll have to wait and see what comes through the post and if its the wrong one I'll send it back. They do quote the same number that is on your one. If it is wrong and they cannot supply the correct one, do you ship from the US?

Congrats on your 348, drive her in good health!
(And by the way, Daniel and Ricambi are great for parts. I just recently got my first Ferrari, an 84 308 QV. Daniel spent a good deal of time with me on the phone, the parts were great and shipped instantly, as promised. Took a lot of stress out of it...)

    Cheers,
    J.

Well, what a weekend. Picked up my 348ts on Friday as planned. The sun was out and very very hot and i was nervous as hell. Anyway, drove it back home and within minutes of me arriving all the neighbours were out admiring my new purchase. Most of the guys were drooling and i spent the rest of the afternoon driving smiley passengers around.
Saturday spent getting used to the car and lapping up the turning of heads.
Sunday was a journey to Silverstone and the British Grand Prix. Hot and sunny and boy do you get noticed in these cars.
Pics will be forthcomming soon, but suffice to say i haven't stopped grinning since Friday.
