Had my house re plumbed about a year ago and have been enjoying fresh tap water to drink as opposed to bottled. Yesterday I noticed the water tasting foul especially in a large tumbler when I could also get a good smell. Eew. City must have done something. I think it’s time for a filter. I’ve seen ones that attach to the sink faucet, freestanding (but I need something small), one mom has is just a tube in a pitcher. Suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Venus

Get an RO filter system. I put in a Whirlpool model bought at Lowes.

My ex was very sensitive to chlorine and various other things in the water.

We ended up with a whole house setup along the lines of this stuff:

    Spark-L-Pure - General Ecology

Was great, because it didn't particularly slow down the household flow rate & gave use very pure water for, well, everything that used water.
