    I have been looking for a good 512 TR for a long time. But the right one just didn't seem to be there. So I agreed to go for a compromise and decided to buy a Testarossa.
    But 1 day later I received a phone call.....!

    They just received a beautiful '92 512 TR. Red/Black. First owner. 33200 original km. FULL history (4x cam belts and every year a service at a Ferrari dealership). Interior and exterior are brand new!

    I could not believe what I heard. It did not take me long to make up my mind.
    So I cancelled the Testarossa and bought my dream car!

    I can't believe how different the car feels compared to the Testarossa. Clutch, steering and shifting was easy (even with a cold engine). The car felt so smooth.
    The torque is simply unbelievable!

    I think I am in love! :)

    Yes Ton, you are right!
    The 512TR is a "weichgespülter" Testarossa;)
    The testarossa is for the hardbangers and educated drivers
    The 512TR is for the .........others;)

    Just kidding, for sure the 512TR is the better TR with powersteering, better and bigger breakes, lower engine (better handling) and all the upgrades - thats why a good 512TR is +20K over the TR prics.

    Looking forward to CU on the road an lets shoot some pics 512TR together with a TR.

    Wolfgang, i think that the 512 TR hasn't any Power steering....
    Ton, great car, i'm looking forward to see it in action with my 348 during the trip to the deil meeting...

    No power steering on the 512TR. The handling is world apart from the Testa IMO. The 512TR is a car that rewards you when you drive spiritedly, the Testarossa IMO always felt a little unsettled when hustling through the curves.

    The remark of my wife was the funniest of all. After she saw the car for the first time she said that she liked it very much. Immediately she added that she was happy that it did not look like a Testarossa. Ha ha! I just smiled and told her that she was right! :)
