    For any and all interested, lets do a drive around Lake Norman Sat. Oct. 7th.


    We can start early, meet in the new Dunkin Donuts Parking lot on the west side of I77 exit 33 for 8am

    we can leave out shortly afterwards and drive the 125 mile route and end back in Huntersville

    For all those attending Tom Cotters Woody party we can then head over there for around noon.

    Should be fun for all, and weather is supposed to be great.

    and john, you really need to hook up w/ the group and meet my good friend tom at his woody party. tom is one of the neatest car guys you are likely to meet on the planet!!

    Just finished mapping out the route for Saturday's fun.

    Wow, there are some great roads around the lake. I drove it in about 3 hours in a sedan

    We have a few 360's so far a 430, 308,328 Hope to see you guys there, should be a great drive.

    We will start 8am at Dunkin Donuts exit 33 Mooresville

    Finish at Rosedale Commons Huntersville

    Should take about 2.5 hours maybe less or more if we stop.

    But a great route and some really good roads.

    Actually it's the GT Live tour and the Grand Am Cup Finale 6 Hour Endurance Race GS/ST Class Oct 6-8th.
    I will be up at VIR that weekend for that event. GS runs on Saturday 7th and ST runs on Sunday 8th.
    Oh yea and Free Karting all weekend at VIR too. WOO HOO !!!

    I would love to do the drive, but I also will be at VIR for the Grand Am races. Plus I will have just gotten the 360 back from it's 30k service and will be licking my wounds for a while. I am up for a drive the following weekend if there happens to be a repeat performance and I am not in the hospital.

    Here is a map of where Dunkin is located, since it is a new store they are not in the system yet but the address listed on the map is of Food Lion which is across the street.

    And remember everyone is welcome no matter what you are driving.
