I'm heading out on Friday afternoon with the wife and kids following in the Rover. Should be getting on 80 west around 1:00pm if anyone is interested in riding up. I get on around exit 26 in Morris county.

It looks as though the weather is going to be the same crap we have had for the past 30 days. I have track time scheduled for Saturday but if it rains....forget it.

    See you all there.

Its 5am and I'll be ready to head out to Skytop by 7am..... barring no massive rain showers by departure time..

This is special for me, I'm entering my '89 328 in it's first Concours... VERY PSYCHED!!

As of yesterday morning I was bailing out given the "all day rain" forecast..
My prayers were answered, no morning rain....

    Hope to meet those attending..

    John.

Well hopefully the weather will be nicer next year!!! It was my first time checking out the event. While it was nice to see some very impressive cars... it was wet....

I would like to thank all of those that displayed their cars in the rain!! I will post some pics this week.......

How many cars usually show up when it is dry? I was hoping to see some vinatge Ferrari's as well as Alfa's and Lancia's but I kind of thought the weather would keep a lot of cars tucked away in their garages.

Maybe some big tents next year???

I was there with my 328, It started to rain when I arrived at 8:45am. Then crazy weather all day. There was one time of no rain between say 1:15 to approx 3ish.
Judges really liked my 328, gave me great feedback too. Next one is Florham Park in September..

I've been meaning to go for the past few years, but every year I am booked. It seems like the event falls around my daughter's birthday party.

I did have an opening last year, but the cost for my kids (both girls, not car lovers at their young age) was too much. Next year, I leave them behind and hopefully have an F-Car to drive up with a few of the folks on the board!
