Apparently the Miami episode where the SC picked up the wrong car and allowed Lando to win that day, they spliced in Zandvoort footage instead to make it appear Max hated it that Lando won, lol. This series is as fake and **** as it comes. F1/Media constantly moans that people need to get along yet they don't call out the ******** like this. It's shameful.
Complain, complain, complain....... Maybe it would be better to show checkers competition for you haters? DTS reels in many fans, and it helps bridge the gap during the off season for me. OK, back to your whining & sniveling.
Bridge the gap? The F1 season starts on Friday. The whining is about a fictional account of a reality many new fans apparently don't care about. Racertainment ain't necessarily racing.
DTS is complete trash in a Kardashian way but like any good "reality" show train wreck it's entertaining to watch when you don't take it serious. Only new F1 fans I've ever encountered from DTS oddly have all been either teenage girls or women. I suspect they are drawn to the soap opera type drama and are there for the eye candy Miami GP is loaded with them. They don't know anything other than who they think is hot but they spend money. Liberty likes that.
i hate the fake announcer as if he were at the race. just give a voice similar to doing a documentary.
me too and their simb as rocks re F1 or any car racing. only there for the drama. real house wives of auto racing.
It might have been DTS-2024 that was basically just a season recap. Seemed boring, not sure I finished. I am guessing they had cameras rolling wherever possible and at the end of the season tried to pick out some stories? Lewis being the first obvious one! It turned out to be an amazing season even though it got off to a slow start. I have only seen 3 episodes so far. I wonder how many of the conversations were staged and didn't really happen that way? Was there really a camera crew at breakfast with Toto in Monaco? I was actually hoping to see a little more of the dive! I am hoping to see a little more about LEC's Monaco win, etc.
It’s the NASCARing of F1, where it’s all about the drivers. It’s a personality reality show now. The cars are just accessories. There are some like that here in this forum.
haven't been watching the last couple seasons when they didn't follow the race schedule and did their own thing
Huge urge to skip every time Zak "Nothing About This is a Real Interaction" Brown is on. I think probably one of the only interesting insights was the conversation with Carlos & Lewis as brief as it was. Otherwise, eh... Netflix hype.
If they’d look at Hard Knocks, the HBO show profiling NFL teams, they could have a winner. Hard Knocks traditionally follows one team in the pre-season, this year they profiled the four teams in one division. They followed the games, and then dove into the teams and their people during prep weeks. If F1 would give this kind of access, we’d see the ways the various minds think, how the drivers prepare, and the pressures of trying to lead a real life while also competing. The way they’re doing it might get new fans, but a better version would get the new and keep everyone else engaged. Even my wife loves Hard Knocks, and she never watches the games. She will, though, ask how a player she saw on the show did that week.
