    My driver door on 348TS 1992 sometimes opens and sometimes does not.....Not from the inside or outside button. I have tried locking and unlocking, and it changes nothing. The only thing is after driving sometimes it opens (I think because it bounces around on the roads around here - they suck on the pavement in my town! -)

    Any ideas from anyone on what could be broken and how to fix?

    Is it easy to take off the door panel on the inside and look?

    Had the same problem which ended up being the door striker (the metal post which the locking mechanism grabs around when the door closes). There is a metal sleeve that wraps around the post of the striker. This SHOULD be welded in place but breaks over time causing the metal sleeve to rotate around. The door closing mechanism ends up grabing where the metal sleeve is pinched together which will cause the door not to open. Ricambi America sells new strikers for around $30. If this is the problem, you need to fix ASAP as my door got the point that you could not open the door at all!
