    driving that late...one really should assume most drivers on the road are impaired. be extra careful. 23 year old in that car is also a recipe for disaster. r.i.p. young man.

    Reports say the driver was doing the speed limit. (35 mph)

    The posted article says the Ferrari driver was driving the appropriate speed, which means he was being responsible. His age had nothing to do with this accident. I hate knee jerk reactions. A mature 23 year old can drive an Fcar just fine.

    Not often and not this one -- Witnesses in the neighborhood said he had been flying through traffic doing 70 in 30/35 zones the previous three days, upsetting the neighborhood and risking a lot of people's safety. This may be the Hyundai driver's fault but I doubt him being hit by another speeder at 2am is the result of "mature" judgement.

    More often than not people think a car with a loud exhaust is speeding, even when he's not. Don't underestimate how thick the average person is.

    Being out at 2am doesn't mean he is, or was acting, immaturely.

    Very sad;
    Somehow this accident is very strange; i cant figure out, how the impact has happened, and that it lead to fatality; maybe a fellow F-Chatter can try to explain? Regards-e

    +1. I am a perfect example of this. I am out at 2:00am regularly after a night of playing cards with my friends. I do not drink, nor do drugs (I don't even smoke) and I am very responsible.

    Why is it that every time I read a drunk driver crash article, it's always the drunk driver kills the occupant of the vehicle he/she hits, as opposed to the drunk driver being killed in the collision and the other person survives?

    Because drunk drivers are relaxed which helps them avoid injury. When you tense up before a crash, which sober people do when they see one's about to happen, the body doesn't "give" with the impact.
