Driver side lock won't work, lights still on.

    Hello All,

    512TR

    My driver side lights for the window switches and the red door light stay on when the door is closed. The door lock won't work to lock or unlock the door. Stays the same condition if door is open or closed. Passenger side lock works fine, but the window switch light stays on.

    Had the idea that maybe the two little black push pin door switches in the front door sill might be bad.

    Does anyone have any suggestion of how to fix this?

    Why did you start a new thread when you asked the same question in this forum several days ago? Did you read the responses? You never responded so...??? BTW, for a TR specific question, you are generally better off posting in the Boxer/TR section vs. here. Go to the Boxer/TR forum, use the search function and you'll find plenty of info on the door switches (one on each sill controls the door lights, the other is for the seat belts). The switches aren't terribly failure prone, but there are some simple checks to isolate the wiring or the switch. That has nothing to do with your lock not working.
