I need some advice. I've always had trouble with the interference between the parking brake lever and the drivers seat adjustment switch. I've solved that problem by not using the parking brake and simply leaving it in gear when I stop. The leather covered panel that holds the seat switch has seperated from the seat bolster and it looks like it was attached to the leather bolster with some type of adhesive. Has anyone had this problem? How do I re-attach it?
    Thanks

I have only had the buttons come off from interaction with the parking brake. The panel has stayed on.

When you pull the handle up to engage the parking brake presses the seat buttons, even when you try to disengage takes several attemps to turn the red light off. Very poor desiegn. If you wearing a wrist band it will scrach the leather. Try to pull up or down while pushing outward.

I've got a similar problem with my 456. This problem cropped up after I had the bottom "skirt" of the seat reupholstered (which also meant removing the seat). Upon install, the panel holding the seat adjustment buttons no longer sits tight againts the leather. I push it tight, but eventually losens again just a bit. I am going to losen the bolts holding the seat down and pushing the seat towards the center and then tighten. There is likely to be a millimeter or so or play and that may just be enought to remove the rubbing. Of course the real solution is to solve the "popping" out issue of the panel with the seat adjustment button. I hope my babble makes sense.
