We think we finally have the late four headlight 330GT in running condition but in the little I have driven the car I find it does not seem to fit me too well. I am 6' 2" tall with a 32" inseam and my right leg has my knee jammed up against the steering wheel to the point where I cannot pass my fingers between the back edge of the wheel and my knee. The seat only seems to have about 3" of travel and it seems to be all the way back now.

Is this normal or should this car fit tall people better than this?

Steven : We used to have a 4 Lite/ 5 speed 330GT. I am 6'5" and have long legs and I could drive the car easily. Look under the seat and see if the handle that you move to adjust the seat is in the rear-most slot in the seat track. I suspect it is not. You may have to remove the seat (4 bolts) and see what is going on. Some of the seats have small 'tabs" attached by a bolt that limit travel. Many times you can remove these tabs and get additional rearward movement.

Thanks for the info. I will look under the seat to see if those tabs are there.

I had a 4 headlight 330GT yeas ago, and experienced a similar condition. Removal of the seat and seat tracks revealed that they were jammed when moving the seat back. There are 2 ball bearings that act as spacers/rollers on the track mechanism..... one of them was missing....and the whole assembly was bent. Once repaired in my workshop, using available ball bearings of similar diameter, the tracks worked pretty good.
