Has anyone done this? Im sure it is ridiculously loud etc... but would it hurt valves etc like the cracked headers? I was swapping my factory exhaust for a stebro and I started it up just to see what it sounded like but didn't dare take for a spin for fear of breaking a valve... im sure the pipes are long enough... I just like to play it safe... Unfortunately now that I have heard what the car can sound like uncorked... I think the stebro is a little bit of a let down... but it sure is nice when you have someone else riding with you in the car who isn't quiet the car enthusiast... Its very very quiet, factory like, inside the cabin.

I'm sure it is not much different than with some of the aftermarket exhausts. I think my x-ost is pretty close to not having anything at all. The cats slow down the flow a little.

Not a 355, but I tried pure straight pipes with my Mondial t (348), and although I love loud, I couldnt take the resonance which occurred at 1850 - 2200ish.

I ended up with some very minimal glass pack type tubes, thats all. Cut down the resonance, and its still loud. Sounds great.

Search "No More Anemic exhaust for this Mondial t" for the multiple attempts....

Thanks Pap...I think from now on everyone should call you King pap or at least Sir pap. LOL, you have the answer, or experiance with everything! Who knows... from this I might build my own custom exhaust... or carve out my stebro. Its a great exhaust, its just after hearing the car uncorked...I would like something to be a little more akin to that. The stebro is incredibly subtle. Alot of the info on Fchat made it seem like it was ridiculously loud and it wasn't!!! I also wasn't going for ridiculously loud at the time either though. I also have the "box muffler'" not the challenge pipes...

I will never forget the sound or the volume of two Challenge cars lapping VIR. The first time I was in a 355 and after awhile let them pass as quickly as possible. Thereafter in the Ultima it was an easy decision not to pass them.

It is an ear piercing high volume sound unlike the perfect balance of the 355 with X-OST or Tubi.

Jetfixr on here has a 355 with full open challenge exhaust...and drives it on the street!! But the Weasel is silly like that!!
It'll definitely ring your ears with some revs...great sound going down the road.
    I can't believe he hasn't had a ticket yet...:)...well, I mean from the sound ;)

    Yep he is right!!!!!

    Here is my current setup:

Tubi headers, Fabspeed upper and lower cat by-pass connected to Tubi 'Challenge' STRAIGHT pipes......EAR SPLITTING wicked sound!!!!!!!!

Flames? At night how about tiny little blue blow torches and when shifting try 1 foot dual yellow flames!!!!!!!!

I guess I am silly like that....Cops here in yuk yuk ville ohio have no clue if it's supposed to be that way or not....Quite frankly if they give me any crap I will raise hell in court about all the retarded Harley pipes.....

Just went to court and beat a ticket in the Viper (65/40).......I am not afraid!
Clean record remains for the Weasel!!!!
