Yes, after it warms up. That's actually the best way to get performance out of the machines, they're not known for excessive low end torque.

I occasionally drive mine on the track where it spend most of it's time in the 6-7K range. For aggressive driving on say a twisty back road, mostly in the 4-6K range. For normal driving, mostly in the 3-5K range.

When you're on a nice road, sure. The V8's not a quiet motor though, so taking it to 5000 or so in traffic is something you share with everyone else! Folks can think you are trying to blow someone off, so I generally keep it down in town.
