Normally I keep my supercars in the country but last weekend I drove back to manhattan in my 458. I had some fun dodging in and out of traffic but the roads are so uneven I'm afraid I'm going to bottom out or something. Anyone like driving a ferrari in the city?

I spend most of the time in city driving. I like it. I just enjoy the car.

that's why we have more than one car... pick one that suits your day / mood... regardless of which direction you travel... top down mornings can be fantastic going into the city

Mmm hmm, and where do you keep your ultrayachts? And your megajets?

Personally, I keep my hyperzeppelin parked on top of my office for when I need to make a quick getaway.

LOL! I'm glad I wasn't eating when I read that or it would have ended up on my keyboard!

I live in San Francisco, the roads here are crap. I drive the 355 in the city sometimes, but to really go for a drive, I usually take it across the bridge to Marin county.

97% of my driving is country driving. Take the Fcar to Denver about 2x a year and then I remember why I live in a small town three and a half hours away.

    Life is good.
Life is better driving a Ferrari.

I tolerate driving in the city in order to get up into our beautiful mountains or down south - obviously prefer to not be in stop&go traffic but also like the reactions of the folks in traffic and the car runs/behaves fine in the city as well. Basically, there are very few places I would rather be than in my Ferrari - whether it is in the city, country, mountains or my garage :)

    Cheers

I avoid driving in the city "like the plague"...San Francisco's 45 degree hills will wear out a clutch faster than a snow cone in a Forth of July Parade in Mississippi. Also since my Ferrari is a 1991 Testarossa, and the clutch is stiffer than Ron Jeremy's penis, I prefer to do my cruising on winding open country rodes & the coast highway......Mark
