As far as in-car casualties, I've heard that the drunk person tends not to tense up before impact, and limp bodies take a lot less damage than when ppl brace themselves. It is unfortunate that they do not bear the pain of their victims, nor their families.
PP Doc: I have a twisted sense of HAHA. and i apreaciate that anyone who deals with the "issues" you do would have to have a healthy sense of humo....
I'm trying to envision the "head out the window" part. Maybe his bud thought he was thru hurling and slumped down to sleep it off.... I had classmates that let a friend drive home...rolled a Firebird and decapitated the Football Captain...I read years later crash data reflecting low survival stats for the back seat, where he was.... Take the cab!
That does it, my kids actually asked me what was so funny that I laughed outloud, so I had to relate the story. They were not as impressed with the humor as I am, but then again, at age 11 to 15 they are a lot more mature than I am.
Yea, there are ENTIRELY too many heads leaving the rest of the body in these days and times. I'd think the younger folks might be more affected by that than those MUCH closer to the big 6 X 6 Dirt Nap, head attached or no.......... I remember there was not much time for the "Oh ****, I'm dead" line of thought in my case..... It was dark........REAL dark.............
