Our radardetection's dosent go that high! :D:D:D it blows at 160 km/h LOL:D
Our max speed limit is 100 km/h...you'll lose your license at 136 km/h :(

Driving "fast" with a Ferrari is really nice, if you know what you're doing, I've had my 348 in 200+km/h one time (Sweden) and I thought it was easier to drive fast rather than slow with this car, a F car is not so good to drive around in the city's streets, with no power steering. ;)
Ferrari's are built for one reason....to go fast, and they do that rather well :D:D

Hmm I have no Ferrari... but I have to admit that I have a "heavy foot" ;):D
    I like speed!!!
But in Denmark the law has getting pretty nasty...so you really have to take care now, if you don't wanna loose your license :(

    OK, my time.
Maximum speed during my daily commuting to Manila is 90 Km per hour. Simply you cannot go any faster!
If you want to try the thrilling of speed, just do not do it. You can only go fast at night, and then you cannot see holes, bycicles without tail lights, cars or trukcs without tail lights and so on and so for.
When I am in Italy... thing changes. Even if in the last period the law is getting strict (see Andrea post for latest developments), speeding is still possible in the peninsula. B roads are the best place when you know them. Anyway I never reached even close to the maximum potential of the F car on open roads. It is simply too dangerous for you and your licence.
    Ciao
    Eugenio

Not aimed at any one who posted in this thread, but I always find those who think they are good drivers are normally the worst. They often assume their driving is correct and so everyone elses is wrong.

I drive a big lumbering Range Rover for my daily drive, and with that car there is no fun in going fast. Sit back, in your leather armchair, heated seats on, seat massage on, music on, climate control set just right, and then cruise in the inside lane at about 10kph under the limit ;) I might arrive 5 minutes after everyone else but no stress and a nice warm bottom.

One other benefit of such a big car, if I upset a GTi drive or such, and he sits right behind my rear bumper.... I can't see him :D

    Also on our Highways?

Even when everybody is gazing at you and taking your photograph with mobilephones etc.? Also in a tunnel or do you simply chose a lower gear then?

    Yes! :)
Actually it is easier for them to make a picture with their mobilephone when you are slow! Ha ha!
Of course I also like to shift back and push the throttle every now and then. But I can also enjoy driving 120 km/hr on the highway. You always feel a bit like a celebrity. People are waving, smiling and giving thumbs up. I enjoy that I guess. :)

    True... actually...

But I think there aren't that many people who consider themselves NOT as good drivers... Lot's of people think THEIR driving style is the best... but everyone can make a mistake off course... An accident often happens really quick...

    Well said!!!
Thats why I discern for myself between:
    - Opel Astra I´m a bad, slowly, grandfather style, inattentive A to B driver
    - Testarossa; always too fast and always up to 8.000rpm`s on the country roads, but very attentive
    - F3 on the track; 110% on/over the limit and care about nothing! (Hockenheim Grand Prix track 1.46,22 :D my best time.....check it out)

It can indeed be very enjoyable to see people start taking pics and waving and smiling :D... but not all the time I guess? I can imagine it's possible some people get tired of it after a while? On the other hand, that's a part of owning a Ferrari too I guess :D

I believe it can get really annoying when you're driving 120 enjoying the car and the scennery while some stupid guy in a BMW or tuned VW Golf pulls up next to you over and over again and wants to race you... Ignoring the guy is probably the best in such case... but that's not funny anymore...

    Another endless discussion :D
    What's the most dangerous? :D

-a 20 year old girl with a VW Beetle
-a 25 year old guy with a Golf GTI
-a 25 year old guy with dad's Porsche
    -a 30 year old woman with a mini-van
-a 30 year old man with a company leased Audi,
-a 35 year old man with a Ferrari
-a 40 year old woman in a BMW
-a 60 year old man in a Buick
-a 70 year old woman in a wheelchair
    - Wolfgang in a Testarossa
    :D:D:D;)

It all depends on personality and experience too off course :D

That is the life of a Ferrari owner. You have to learn NOT to give in to this. Just ignore them. Usually I break and let them go.

i'm normally a smooth, fast driver. never endanger other people or irritate them, i just always want to be a tad faster than the others. have no clue why, to be honest

and then, oh the irony, i totalled my car while standing still this wednesday....

Well...usually i do more than 250 km per day, (today 480, went to the circuit of Jerez and saw Michael and "others"). Normally i do 30% very fast and 70% enjoying the road...
...but the best for me is when i drive my Triumph Speed Triple...after work, at twelve or one o´clock of the night... at top speed... the most enjoyable moment of the day...
    Regards, Jesus
