I've never had driving gloves, I have numerous nomex racing gloves but I want a nice pair of kid leather driving gloves. My kids are asking for Xmas present ideas, always a difficult question, so I thought of driving gloves, for those that use them do they prefer the cut off finger ones or the classic full finger type?

    Dents...Amazon has a great selection.

They also have generic brand gloves which are very nice as well for a fraction of the price.

Gloves are also great for the long term preservation of the leather or suede on your Ferrari steering wheel, stops the oils and sweat on your hands contaminating the leather and stitching.

I have bought two pairs from these guys Peter.

    Really good service.

I like the full finger ventilated ones myself, however plenty of others to choose from.

You may struggle to get by Christmas however, as these guys are in the UK.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

That is exactly why I wear gloves if I'm driving for more than 10 minutes, I destroyed the steering wheel on my BMW, Lexus, 355, got them refurbished but they were never the same.

There is a place near Canberra that has great leather gloves , Bungendore. ...... I get the fingerless gloves because it makes using the touch screens and buttons easier

Thanks guys for the tips, I'll think on it further overnight & probably suggest they get me the Dents, as I think/hope that's possible in time for Xmas, I'll probably go with the full finger as the new Dents actually have been modified, so they advertise, for touchscreen use thanks John.

    I'm a stringback guy.
An old pair in the T Series

    New pair in the Corniche.

In the E-type a soft pair of gloves ,as the steering wheel (wooden) does cause hand sweat.

However.....# these gloves are dyed dark blue and in hot weather leave a film of blue over your fingers ...
