Good point. I see them all the time heading down to Lang Lang. I think because it is export they get away with it. Thats what makes the rule so stupid. If you had enough money you would challenge them ion court.

 

The whole freaking reason we are having this discussion about draconian import regulations, high tarriffs, luxury car tax and stupid road rego rules is the governments decision to protect those bastards at Lang Lang and Geelong. The government has been in bed with the local manufacturers ever since the end of WW2.

As soon as Bob Lutz at GM announced the crapadores exportation as a Pontiac G8 to the US, the State Govt was all over Holden and the media like a rash, so the Govt will let Holden get away with anything it wants in terms of bypassing legislation made for the rest of us.

The whole Govt protectionist stand is worthy of a detailed debate but would be a total waste of time as local car lobbies would ultimately be whom the Govt is listening to and would have the final say. So in the mean time car enthusiasts who dont like what gets made out of aussie factories get the shaft

There is/was a road registered 360 Challenge in SA a couple or three/four years ago.I'm pretty sure it was a LHD.....but,surprisingly,I maybe incorrect.
