It's very hard to photograph slate grey in a way that brings it to life. It was also heartening, in a way, to see a bunch of stone chips and a few paint cracks on this well-used classic Turbo.
Fascinating article, and beautiful photos. The 76 and 77 911 Turbo Carrera is a stunning car. What sets it apart is the smaller, curved, rear spoiler. Difficult to find nice examples these days.
