Well after less than 7 days with my 3k mile 2007 F430, I got the 3 way combo error of driving mode failure, CST and brakes, and also the ignition lockout. Car was fine for several days then wouldn’t start due to these errors. Newer battery kept on charger every day but car had been sitting maybe only 5 hours at my office unplugged. Not long at all.

First time was yesterday. I took key out, opened door, closed door, key back in, same thing over and over. Then I unplugged battery, waited and was able to get the car to start. And then the messages were gone. Drove home maybe 10 minutes. No
    Messages.

A few hours later tested again, messages were back, and car wouldn’t start, repeated the door opening thing and this time instead of waiting for the messages again I just hit the start button Quickly before they had a chance to pop up and car started and no messages.

teated again a few hours later this time without even trying to start car, just key to position 2, same thing, the trio of errors. This time just twisted key out, back in, errors gone.

So 3 slightly different senarios but each time clearly some sort of electrical issue going on.

Looking for any advice. Seems to be a battery or sensor issue, possibly the spring behind the steering wheel,
considering I can trick the car to start and messages don’t reappear doesn’t seem like no actual issues here other than sensors not talking or low voltage possibly?

Car was just serviced by Ferrari a week ago fyi. Battery was checked. That said it was a year old battery that sat dead for a a long time. They assured me it was fine. I’m not so sure. Ferrari OEM charger each am goes green and says fully charged, but who knows if battery was ****ed before That.

If your battery Sat dead for a long time then change it. Even if it's one year old. I wouldn't fool around just change it so you know it's new. I'd call them and make them change it. Maybe tell them it went dead

Agree with above. I bought a new battery for my scud and then after doing some interior repairs I left the dome light on overnight and car would not start. Charged up the battery and it worked fine, but replaced it anyway and relegated the "old" battery to service as a spare. Worth the piece of mind to have a 100% fresh/good condition battery. Not worth messing around with.

Update from Ferrari of Wilsonville, it was an intermittent (about to fail) brake pedal switch throwing off the system, replacing as we speak.
