Markie49 said to not have the car put on a drive-on lift, the tank is so wide that it won't clear the ramps.

Of course, remove the shift cables from the bottom of the shifter and tie them out of the way to get the tank out.

Also, there is just one large fuel tank.

not sure but when i took out the gas tanks in my testarossa the ac lines ran thru it and it became much more of a job then i expected. they run thru the gas tanks to keep the gas cold. ie colder gas is more dense and burns better at least that's what my mechanic said

He won't have to worry about that because the a/c lines run up and over the tank.

You don't have to drop the tank to pull the motor.

I have do a little rewelding to accomplish before droping the motor.
So it is pretty straightforward from what I am reading, except that it is one tank instead of two.

Ah, welding the frame/sub-frame while attached. Good idea to pull the gas tank first, then. Smart. Lowers any risk.

Remember to disconnect your A/C-Heater ECU, mad mouse ECUs, engine ECUs, and exhaust ECUs before you light up the torch.
