My friend swung by with his new FF....got a it a few days ago, grey with red interior....he doesn't like the color combo so is switching it out for a White one.....I took it for a "spin" and I was quite impressed.....very smooth ride and "quiet" cabin ride....definately a nice dd....looks much better in person than pics and still turns heads like any other Ferrari....

I drove an FF yesterday while getting my oil changed in my California ... WOW ... not as noisy as my Califnoria but 8K rpm from a V12 is WAY prettier than 8K in my V8. Stomping on the gas even in a turn and it simply goes like stink. I was very impressed, and now simply gotta have one :).

The FF is one of those things that, one must experience for himself in order to understand. As for "noisy", have a friend video clip u driving off from outside and then u will see... Or should i say, hear... Noisy! :)

Refer to this movie for a four-wheel-wheelspin. Just shows the pure and raw power this beauty has. Awesome.

Agreed 100%. I don't think people really understand how amazing the FF is if they have not driven it. It is just so silky smooth yet amazingly powerful and the V12 makes the most amazing growl when you push it. I love the practicality of the car. I've had 4 people in the car several times now and everyone is amazed at how fast yet comfortable it is - even the folks in the back. I just love the car.

Prior to owning the FF I never could understand the V12 front-engined allure over the mid-engined Ferraris. But having now experienced the glory of owning a V12 front-engined Ferrari I now totally 'get it'.

I couldn't see trading my FF for an F12 because the combination of practicality and performance in the FF outweighs the extra performance of the F12 for me and I already have a 458 which is also amazing. But I can definitely imagine how wonderful a car it is which is something I couldn't have understood prior to the FF.

It does tick lots of boxes for lots of situations, not usually a ferrari trait. Great car

This would b likewise for me if i still had my 458, either one of em, haha. I will trade for F12 bcuz i will only have 1 F-Car in the stable. Range will have to suffice for family.

Drove the FF, it's soooooo good!!!
Very comfortable , sporty, stable, very well built and so much fun to drive!
The 4 wheel drive system really makes a difference even in dry conditions and add a sense of security to driving it all the way to the edge.
drove the 599, 458, F12 and they are all great cars , but the FF is so much more special & practical car to own.
    Love it

I'm a bit confused by your phrasing. Which edge are we talking about? Doesn't the front system shut down past a relatively low speed, making the FF a RWD car during 99.99% of "edges"?

The front gears are able to be active when any of the first four rear gears are engaged. So while 120mph+ may be relatively low speed in a bigger picture, its not that low...

I remembered the ins and outs incorrectly, thinking the front disconnects much earlier. Thanks.

The F12 is very beautiful car but the FF looks good in white color as well.
The engine & performance of both cars is very similar but the FF is much much easier to drive.
FF is a very good every day car with an extra great fun factor
Just my opinion after having it for two weeks...

Yeah this does not really answer my question...how can you compare? Where have you driven the F12?
