Drove my first Ferrari over the weekend

I have waited along time for this oppurtunity. My friend stop by over the weekend so we could go crusing around town which was no big deal until he told me he wanted to ride and not drive. Once the initial shock set in he handed over the keys to his 360CS. After a few quick tips on driving an F1 shifting car off we went. I have riden in 3 different 360's up to this point but never as a driver ('99 coupe, '04 spider and '04 CS all belonging to the same friend at one point or another). Once we were down the road and there was no traffic around I opened it up and thought I had gone to ferrari heaven. It was like nothing I had ever driven before with the fast shifts and constant acceleration. Then my friend told me to push the race button to really see what the car was cappable of. At this piont I died and went to ferreri heaven. The noise from the engine was intoxicating. It is the perfect car on the back country roads I was driving on. Then we decidied to head into town. I was supprised on how comfortable the car was in traffic once I got use to all the attention I was getting. After I had enough bumper to bumper traffic we hit the highway for some open road crusing once again. And again no dissapointments. After about 2 hours and around 100 miles my drive was over. Needless to say I was bitten by the ferrari bug like never before. Later that night I had 102 degree fever and a big grin on my face. So to all of you that have one of these amazing cars you are very lucky. Currently working hard so I can get mine.
