Yeah - dull that the usual stuff has been dragged into this thread. As to the scans of the magazine I can take them down, however it's on a service that I'm no longer subscribed to but planned to eventually, only it's US$150 to re-subscribe and I haven't needed to now I have my own site.

ash...the magazine was in ever news stand in the country and was read by brazillians!

furthermore, if he's happy to post up identifying articles etc about me, then i don't see how he can be in a position to be complain about it.

it doesn't make sense to me that someone who REALLY respects his privacy wouldn't respect others'.

 

I fully understand that - the difference between then and now is that magazine was on the shelf for a month, but on the internet is preserved indefinitely and MUCH more findable by people searching for information, rather than uninterested parties just stumbling upon it. Just like your article, that was in the paper for one day - who else here knew where to find it until they asked and I did a quick search? They DID specifically ask to not have personal details revealed and were very pissed off at the time, someone else scanned the mag and I just posted it at the time, nowadays, people may choose to be more circumspect with what's available about them.

 

well, since you were kind enough to find MY article which i did NOT give permission to being linked from this site and i DEFINITELY didn't give permission for anyone to post it on here, then i'm grateful to you for providing the equivalent for us to look at with the motor article...in the interest of fair play. i did give someone permission once...long long time ago...but otherwise, not.
