I can't believe it. Just look at the bit with mhh... "This is my daily driver and, as such, I never really get the chance to stretch the Gallardo's legs...." As a grammar freak that makes me cringe to some extent....and in a magazine? I hope they have new editors by now.
What planet you on???? Only 24 hours in a day on Earth. BTW what is the correct grammer. You didn't answer. I always get confused when and where to put the apostrophe.
and lol...btw...how does one do a 44 hour day?? whilst i can concede that you might have been non stop for almost two days, i can't see how a day can ever be longer than 24 hours!
Minor fix and: OK Here are a few examples: "I went to the shop and we ate pizzas" that's a plural, so no apostrophe. "The pizza's shoes are shabby." indication of ownership, which in this case is what I got totally wrong. This is the one that most people get a bit stumped with: "The pizza's going to the shop tonight" the apostrophe indicates there is a missing letter, in this case it is i for is hahaha, capitalising on my poor fortune. Thanks guys.
Thanks for that, but just one question. When does it go on the end? Give me an example of that. Thanks edit, BTW I thought it was a pizza, whats a plural. lol
OK, this is an example of that situation... when there is a word that usually ends with an 'S' or there are multiples of this owning something, this is when the apostrophe is used on the end... Let's say there are 4 Poulos D) family members and they own their family car.... "This is the Poulos' Falcon" as opposed to "This is the Poulos's Falcon" It's a variation of grammar but I choose to use the top one, for me it's easier and I get more marks.
hahaha. And FYI PP, I'm doing English a year above my level in "SHIP" (students with high intellectual potential")
douch(e), doosh....same thing, different haircut. haha bloody ha, newsline: "Pot calls kettle black".
fwiw I'm a little worried now that some folk could confuse the Ash Simmonds mentioned on the first page of that article with me.
