Looking for a good dry-sump car. Prefer something already in the U.S. but would consider importing a car. Would prefer something other than red but not a deal breaker.

Any particular reason for wanting a dry sump only?
The reason I ask is because the first USA VETRO will be going to auction in Monterey. low mile California car in #1 condition.

Well, the current values of an early 308 beïng right, "a bit" right or wrong is already intensively discussed. And it's not even the most expensive 308 that has recently been advertised (mobile.de, eur. 260.000,00, also a Vetro car (of course)). I saw this "The Gallery" car in person two weeks ago. Exept from maybe a wrong detail (i'm not shure) like black painted vents behind the front head lights and a missing boot cover the car is really a joy to look at, in- and outside, and the Gallery has quite a reputation for selling only true quality cars.

It takes very serious money to get an "average" car to this level (that is if you have to outsource the jobs to be done), even having a well maintained car "shine" again is a big bang of bucks. Ask me how I know.

Who knows, in a few years, how we have to answer your question.. ;-)

Fiberglass cars are out of my price range. I went ahead and got the red/tan car at RPM. Hoping it will arrive soon.

You're right. But the market is seriously over heating and we all know how these things end.
For now I guess it's helping anybody who has a 2001 or older Ferrari.
