Thanks to Tom Jones down at Robling Road this dummy got home.
I OVERFILLED the dry sump. checked it cold and topped up with 3 more quarts. Tom saw the oil on the outside of the sump and asked if I had a leak. Went and bought vaccum sucker from autozone and a drain pain.
This is what happens when you have to many cars and are in a hurry.
I was lucky, could have fried the whole thing with an oil fire.
This was the 1st time the car went anyplace out of its trailer. Ran good going there from AIken S.C. after chasing it a little on the track (after the track time) it ran better going home.

P.S. Check dry sump with engine warm, allow to idle then shut off and check, I need to write this 50 times to remember.

I would be willing to bet most know this, especially owners of cars with it, but I still like your post because it reminds me of the first time I learned of this. Someone had posted the same thing and others were condemning saying "OH I can't believe you didn't know this and " bla bla bla. But if one person learns from this post (as I once did) it's a good post.
Glad you didn't hurt anything. Lesson learned. What car was this on BTW?
