I'm curious to see the difference in the 308's that have dry sump and wet sump oil pans. Any pics or drawings that show the difference would be cool. Anyone?

There is almost no visible difference between the two externally. The dry sump engine block has a slightly different configuration to allow for the internal chain driven pump that is at the "front" or mass dampener end of the engine. Internally the wet sump oil pan has a series of vertical baffles to limit the flow of oil. The dry sump oil pan is flat without the wet sump vertical baffles. In fact, when I transferred my dry sump motor into my '79 GTS I bought a standard wet sump oil pan from TRutlands and then cut the aluminum baffles off and sanded the stubs down until flat. Don't have any pix but that is how they differ.
