    When did the dry sump system on US cars end? A friend is telling me it ended with the 1980 model. I thought it was on the fiberglass and early steel cars only. Can someone clarify. Thank you.

    The U.S. cars were never dry sump; only the Euro GTBs. Both glass and steel GTS models were always wet sump, both U.S. and Euro. ;-)
