I just drove the route in the research car this afternoon. Dry roads, sunshine, light traffic, fall colors, open farmland. Hope the weather holds. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And me........Sorry fellas. Previous engagement............attending my 8 yr old neices final soccer game of the season. Promised her weeks ago. Wouldn't be a very good uncle if I bailed on her.
I didn't plan on having two yellow cars. The red Ferrari I was looking for turned out to be yellow, couldn't pass it up.. The 240 is my daily driver Ratkar. I can beat the h*ll out of it and it just keeps going. I love straight sixes, especially with three Weber dueces for carburation.
Just a reminder to everyone planning to attend the drive on Saturday or Sunday to bring your Family Service Radio set to channel 6, sub 12. These are helpful for warning the group of potential hazards, turns up ahead and to keep the group together. See you tomorrow. P.S. I saw an intriguing mathematical equation at the BGCP this afternoon. Bring your calculators!
I forgot to mention that at lunch time I will be handing out club jackets and hats to the winners of the "Cow Slalom".......................................
I've love to go.... But, I need to get my kitchen countertops and sink removed by tomorrow afternoon. The granite guys are coming to install the slabs!
According to channel 4 it looks like decreasing sprinkles today in the north end. Currently it's wet out but not raining here in A-town. A positive note is a forecast for a DRY day on Sunday! WOOO HOOO! I will give updates every 20 minutes or so this morning.
8:00, Light sprinkles. Guess we'll have some wet roads this morning. Sunday is supposed to be dry though. DJ
