Well after about 6 weeks of rain up here in the north east I finally got to take the F-cars out to excersise them. Reading the posts on the pros and cons of the several after market air intake systems, among other stuff (steady rain will do that) for the 328 I recently installed the Carbonio system on my own car. Installation was straight forward, the customer service was great and while I can't say if there is a difference in performance, it sure looks nice. I suppose it's like the Tubi system I have on it, if it's louder ergo it must be making more power. A zen thing I guess.
After 6 weeks of being covered up I turned the key and it fired right up like it always has. Unfortunately the battery in my C6 vette did not hold up as well even on the battery tender. The 246 is a little more fickle but also came to life. The irony of this is that the C6 is still under warranty and the 328 is 23 years old. Like a vintage wine and women (no letters please)they seem to get better with age...Enjoy the summer with your toys !
