Ducati 1000S DS

Anyone on here have one? What are your good and bad experiences compared with other bikes you're familiar with? Are there 2005-2006 differences?

I've been looking for a bike for myself (not necessarily two-up riding) with an upright riding position, and am interested in this one. I like the Suzuki SV1000 but want something 'different'.
