I think I saw somewhere on this forum where someone was asking if it is possible to polish the fog lamp lenses....can't seem to find it now.
Mine are quite etched...probably from all of the road dirt etc.
Saw other cars with the same problem...does anyone know if polishing them back to new is possible?
I suspect it can be done...however, where would one start??? Aglass shop mabye...appreciate any suggestions.

We've all seen your manufactuing skills Klaar... Build us all some new ones.. LOL...

Since the lights are glass, there are special abrasives, like cerium oxide, that with a little work can smooth out the glass. I don't know of a ready made kit off hand... You could just buy the 3M film and cover them..

Call around to glass or polishing shops. Some of them do polishing for this type of situation. I had two rare fog lights refinished for only $60 and they came out amazing.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to cover them with a film and avoid pitting and dulling again. I left them exposed because it took many years to make them dull, and I'm super anal about losing any light output!
