I try to a vapid the strip while in Vegas, especially in a rental Ferrari. You get so much more enjoyment from the car on the open road. I can only assume this person wanted a lot of attention driving around in that California. Too bad too really.
Possibly distracted by all the lights and didn’t realize the car in front stopped. Made the rounds on the inter web b/c it’s an exotic
Love the crazy paving of the road surface! God, I love Vegas, can’t wait till September when I get back again........ this time I’ll be platinum mlife again! I’ll get to the front of all the lines! Hehehehe. Guy clearly just didn’t know what/how he was driving and miscalculated..... shame, it’s a nice car, and what a public place to do it... how to make yourself look a tool to 100,000 live audience members in five minutes flat!
So what did he hit? I don’t see another vehicle with damage and there doesn’t appear to be any walls, bridges etc in the pic. Just a tasteful (sic) replica of the Eiffel Tower.
That looks like intersection of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. If so, there are 3 pedestrian bridges at that intersection. I'm guessing, he ran into the back of another car. T
Kicking out the rear end and inducing "oversteer" can install a "curve" anywhere on a straight street! Maybe he was doing donuts to impress strippers walking down the street?
Wow, that is a bit extreme? It is a Ferrari built for girls but it isn't an FF that needs a lift kit and some mudders.
Exactly. You can drive as safely and as carefully as you wish, but there are always others out there who may not be so careful. And, on a crowded evening at the intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo, you can rest assured many of them are also distracted! T
That's the single busiest intersection in town, and that would be in front of the Bellagio fountains. While it's a wide part of the Strip, drivers are very erratic there because of the entrances to Bellagio, Paris and Cosmopolitan which are all at the next intersection. Agreed it looks like he hit a truck, and probably not that fast (15-20 mph?). Probably looked over to see the crowds of people, or a 60ft blast of water.
This. It can happen to anyone, including those of us who fancy ourselves “real” drivers amongst the “idiots”. If showboating, texting, etc. was involved, OK, that’s dumb and irresponsible...but, it seems we don’t know.
