I wish it at least looked like the original, but it is black and white plastic. You could gut the original valve so that it is essentially an empty pipe, then install the plastic valve a short distance away in a hidden location.

I bought one of the 360 check valves (#193186) from Ricambi (gotta love Daniel and his guys) several weeks ago just to have it as a spare, since I have been happily running the Durable One valve, and my original stock valve basically has almost no flow. Blowing (or sucking) on the 360 checkvalve compared to the Durable One valve, it didn't flow quite as much, but does flow a LOT better than my old stock one.

NOW, here is where it gets interesting, and I can now say "YES, WITHOUT QUESTION, the Durable One type valve passes more vacuum to the brake booster".

I've just replaced my booster and had my master cylinder rebuilt. When we put it back together, the brakes were really astounding, but actually TOO MUCH brake... in other words, touch the pedal and the car stops! Well, not literally, but after you got past the freeplay area, it felt like there was only a half inch travel between first contact and full stop... very difficult to modulate in normal street driving. We did some minor adjustment to the pedal leverage, but it didn't solve the problem. This morning after driving it a little, I thought, "What if the new booster is working TOO well?" and I swapped out the Durable One valve with the new 360 valve from Ricambi. The brakes now FEEL RIGHT again. Modulable while still being very strong and firm. That was the ONLY change between drives. Clearly the booster was being 'overworked' a bit with more vacuum than ideal. Now that was GREAT on my system with the 25-year old-brake booster, but too much for a brand new one. In my setup now, "less is more". But it does make the point... if you want (need) more brake response, more flow to the booster can make a difference.
