    Hi guys,
    I'm a newbie frenchie, I'm 32 yo, after 2 porscha (996 &997 C2S aero), I'm lookin' for a F430F1...
I've just found one (Rosso Corsa, Leather "Nero", F1 gearbox, shields, electric seats, Carbon, CCM, Power) but there is just the "simple" audio-cd.
I'm lookin' for a motorized screen with ipod plug, gps, bluetooth, touch-sensitive screen, dvd reader and if it is possible tuner tv.
    Any solution???

pioneer, kenwood, alpine all make flip out head units. these head units all have optional items to add BT, TV tuner, traffic update, XM, ipod. Problem is they all stick out of the dash and look goofy with the flip screen.

Why would you need all that stuff in a Ferrari? To me it appears contrary to the car's purpose.

I have only turned my OEM unit on once just to check that it worked! You have a fantastic orchestra right behind your ear.

Agreed with the other posters... DVD reader and TV Tuner? You want to watch movies and TV in your Ferrari?

I can understand that you might want a better GPS system in your car -- who wouldn't -- and perhaps an upgraded stereo, but beyond that... think twice before you pimp-out your car with this other stuff.

Get the car... drive it for a while and then decide if you really need this other stuff. Like most of us, I think you'll find you won't.

I haven't even bothered to reset the OEM radio code after I disconnected the battery for a system reset. I will get round to doing it sometime though! Who needs ICE in a Ferrari?

I've never even turned on my radio. In fact, I don't know how to work it. Have no interest in reading the manual.

Can't imagine why you would want to watch TV in a Ferrari.

You got that right. OEM Bluetooth is a piece of crap. FNA tells me there's RF interference.
The FNA rep. says, " it's not like a Mercedes." Yes, I know. Shouldn't it be better?
He implies, maybe it's because my Valentine1 is hooked up to turn with ignition.
Nonsense. $200,000+ for a car, and I can't be reached by phone in case of emergency.
    My 7th Ferrari, I guess I'm a slow learner.

So not the thing to do to a Ferrari. Maybe the gaylardo is more your style. i think it come with 6 or 7 different wings, fridge and wine chiller, sat tv, a bad audi dash, afterburners for when you use those wings, also comes in floro orange paint with metal flake so you get even more attention from 12 year old boys who think its extra cool you have a tv in your car....... dont know maybe some people like attention from 12 year old boys

just my point of view.......... maybe i am wrong.

+1 on the bluetooth. It stinks in my car and the radio has a manual that's thicker than the car's manual! I knew right away that that was not a good sign and I never bothered to open it. I really don't have much desire to listen to the radio when I'm in the 430 much less watch TV.

I'm with others in a 50/50 situation. If you're installing and watch movie, I really don't know what you're trying to do with your car. If you're installing to get a better GPS with Live Traffic so you could run FULL THROTTLE most of the time and avoid traffic then I'm with you. I am sort of a sound guy as well and most likely not all fellow members will even agree with me but sometimes I just want to relax and listen to my favorite music (I know the exhaust is already a soundtrack) so getting a good sound system (for clarity and not BOOM BOOM) is another for me. But to PIMP it like to have all gadgets, you're missing the main reason why Ferrari is a Ferrari IMHO.

I just got back from putting another 50 miles on my car (F430) and I was thinking some about this topic. There is a fair amount of, for lack of a better term, residual noise in the cabin even while cruising (no WOT) from the engine and road noise. To really hear the radio you need to turn the volume up to a sufficient level to overcome the sound the car is producing as it rolls down the road. What you wind up with is a high level of noise all mixing together. Since there is no volume control for the engine sound (thank goodness!) trying to enjoy a good soundtrack in the Ferrari is not really a pleasant experience.

I'll save the fine music listening to my BMW.

I have the Kenwood version. Sirius; Bluetooth; 3-D Nav; Voice commands: Back-up camera; flip out screen with removable face. Fits in single DIN OEM slot with extra electronics mounted under the passenger seat. It has worked well for the past 12 months. (I will do it again in my 430 next year)

Recent road trips NC to FL 1,500 mi RT (3X) NC to Watkins Glen NY 2,000 mi RT; NC to Indy (2x); NC to DC (5x) The sat Radio is great on long trips.

Did you have your dealer do the install? From where did you purchase the electronics?

    Hi guys,
I'm gonna pick up my first F next monday... in Bordeaux (Gironde, France)
    600 kms to go home...
    They install a pioneer 1 din cd/dvd/mp3/bluetooth/ipod...
    cd/mp3/bluetooth/ipod is for me.
dvd reader is for my girls.
She's absolutely not keen on cars!!! btw, she could watch Dr house or Desperates housewives, while i'm drivin' ...
    Few pics next week.
It's a "simple" F430 F1, my 05/2005. 16000kms. rosso corsa, leather black, red sewings, electric seats, CCm, red dial, red caliper, Carbon interior, Power untill '09 august.
Few mods to come in automn... Thinking in novitec rims (front 19' - rear 20'), rear diffuser to be paint (black), carbon shift paddles...
