    Damn it.

    Ok how many of you have ever bought the same DVD twice?

    I just did it... again!!!

    Went to the store. Saw a film I wanted to buy. Bought it. Got home to discover I had bought it about a month ago and never opened the damn thing. I now have done that about six times in 8 years.


    Grrrrr


    (BTW the movie was "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Anyone need a copy?)

    They are both brand new. Never opened the first. Secound is still sitting here in the damn best buy bag.

    I did that with VHS ..Havent done that with DVDs ..yet.

    Why not just return/exchange it for something else? And no inspite of the couple hundread dvd's in my collection I'm pretty good about not picking up duplicates. Tho I do find movies from time to time and am completely unaware how I aquired them. go figure.

    I just rented Batman Begins again. Funny thing is, I just watched it!

    Saw it in the theaters ... Loved it. Rented it once after, it was okay. I think I loved the idea and plot of the movie more than the actual movie.

    I just rented it again, watched it a few days ago, and about 15 minutes into I just realized that I JUST saw it.

    D'oh.

    that was one WIERD movie man.

    haven't done it with DVDs but have with books and LONG time ago, did it with records.

    I live in Sweden and sometimes the distributor translates the name of the movie to something really strange. This has caused me to buy a few duplicates.

    For example, the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" was translated to the swedish title "Besatt". "Besatt" in swedish means "Possessed" in english, and that is nowhere near "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". It's really confusing.

    I don't know the movie ;) But it's a clear sign that you have way to many movies... or watch too little movies :D

    I have done it with Columbia House often. Which sucks, they are hard to return, but when you end up with 4-8 movies being bought, they avg in price around $11 with shipping, so who cares.

    I just got 4 movies in last week that I wanted and then looked at my brother and brother in laws Christmas list and 2 of the 4 are now gone. Oh well.
