I read all of the great info on re-doing 308 seats. The only DYE reference I saw was Dynamix. Leatherique cleaner/conditioner got lots of rave reviews (I shall get some) - but I saw no other mention of DYE. I'm gonna call Leatherique today - see if they sell a DYE.

Anyone aware of any other suitable DYE?

BTW..I wouldn't order from Dynamix. I ordered 6 weeks ago. At 4 weeks - I emailed for a status check and was told ONE of the 8 items I ordered was back ordered - so they held up the WHOLE order. Of course they never shot me an email to tell me that. At 6 weeks (this week) - they don't respond to emails and won't answer the phone and no answering machine. I've called and emailed every day this week. I don't mind losing $150. Not a big deal if they are a rip off. But chances are I'll order from someone else - and BOTH orders will show up at the same time.

Having said that of Dynamix - they were nice at first. Gave me some good advice while selecting my orders (2). Then nothing. Their Website refers to some upcoming changes - but does not specify what changes. Maybe they've decided to take the money and run? They are still on Ebay. But won't answer any approaches on that platform either.

At the minimum - no matter the ultimate outcome - they suck at customer communications.

So....anybody got a suggestion for some nero (black) DYE? And do you know if you can DYE after using Leatherique? I'll ask them today.

After 6 weeks - got an email - finally - from Dynamix. So sorry, computer crash, yada, yada.
Still doesn't explain why they don't answer the phone - or tell you they are back ordered.
    Apparently, my order is forthcoming.
So in fairness to Dynamix - they might be filling my order. Still....very poor communications.
And I answered my own question. Leatherique DOES sell a DYE. I'll place an order.

You don't really dye 3X8 seats, it's really more like a paint. Yes, Leatherique sells it.

Also check out ColorPlus. I used their products on Mondial and 308 seats, and it worked great. Somewhat easier to use for a DIYer than Leatherique, IMHO, and does a very nice job. They will also custom match the color for you if you send them a sample of the leather.

Call Leatherique and they will answer your questions. We used it on ours and I am totally satisfied with the outcome. I will say that the piping is the only issue I have. It seems I am constantly touching it up. Lost

PS we also used their rubber refiniaher on the bumbers and they came out like new. We did find that spraying the rubber refinisher produced the best results.

Ive given up on trying to look for a quick fix. I may re-dye my headrests, but the seats themselves will get recovered (hopefully this year).

Thanks for the responses. I bought from Dynamix PRIOR to learning that Leatherique ALSO SOLD dye (in addition to conditioners/cleaners).

I've ordered from them as well. George - at Leatherique is a GREAT GUY. Took some time with me. I'll compare the two - Dynamix and Leatherique. Reviews on Leatherique from you guys has been overwhelming.

My Dynamix order finally arrived. They were quite nice - and apologetic. Threw in a couple of "freebees". But still - communications challenged.
